Well, the 30^th January 2015 has arrived & today, Sue & I have completed the sale of the hotel to Rob Tait & Tegan Smith.

After almost eleven years we are just about ready for a change.

Sue & I would both like to take the opportunity to extend our sincere gratitude to:

Guests

Obviously our life blood, but in all but one (maybe two) instances, we have enjoyed every minute of their company.

We think everyone has had good times staying with us and we also think, have genuinely ended up loving beinging with us, the area and the facilities available in Northumberland.

As a bonus many have remained as dear friends.

Staff

The last few years have been Sue & I only, however going back to 2004, when we first started, we had a good few years of full & part time staff, all wonderful workers, nothing too much trouble for them (generally) & all  keen to add their stamp on the ultimate holiday destination.

Friends & Family

Throughout, our friends & family, have been extremely supportive, even during the very busy periods when the hotel took hold & everything else dropped into the background.

Sue has long said to everyone, on many, many occasions as soon as the hotel is sold you will be seeing a lot more of me, so heads down, that time has now arrived.

Rob & Tegan

We have no doubt they will make a big success of the hotel, we have no fears of passing it on to them.

They have many ideas on what they will do as the season progresses, so watch this space.
